Job Summary:
Hire Resolve's trusted client in Limpopo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Trainer with specialized knowledge in the mining industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to equip mining personnel with the technical skills and knowledge necessary to perform their roles effectively. The Technical Trainer will play a critical role in improving overall mining operations and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver training programs for mining personnel on various technical topics, including but not limited to mine exploration, drilling, blasting, ventilation, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
• Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and recommend training interventions.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to update training materials to reflect current industry best practices and technological advancements.
• Create engaging training content, including handouts, presentations, videos, and simulations.
• Deliver training programs through various methods, such as classroom sessions, on-the-job training, and virtual sessions.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and technologies related to the mining industry.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as supervisors, managers, and safety personnel, to ensure training programs align with operational needs and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to new hires within the mining department.
• Conduct assessments and certifications to validate the competency of mining personnel.
• Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, assessments, and certifications.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Valid Diesel/Electrical Trade Test Certificate
• ETDP Level 4
• Assessor and/or Moderator Certificate
• 3 years of working experience as an Artisan in the mining industry
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the mining industry, preferably with experience in underground mining.
•  Proven experience as a technical trainer, delivering training programs for mining personnel.
• In-depth knowledge of mining operations, equipment, safety protocols, and regulations.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in using training software and tools, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) and multimedia authoring tools.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various mining sites as required.

Benefits:

• Salary: R600K-R700K per year
